Drivers Assistance System (ADAS). ADAS consists of Forward Collision
Warning System (FCWS) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS). These
two features add great safety value as LDWS warns you in case your car
drifts out of its lane, thus potentially avoiding a head-on collision.
And if the distance between your car and the one in front of you
decreases, for example when the car in front hits the brakes, the FCWS
gives a warning. The MiVue 688 perfectly combines superior video
quality with smart safety features and safety camera data and is your

1080p Full HD recording at 30 fps
The 688 offers excellent quality recording with Full HD resolution at
30 frames per second. If you are looking for a dash cam to have proof
of what really happened on the road, 1080p (Full HD quality) ensures
you have crystal-clear quality video. Don’t forget to check the 'Frames
per Second' (fps) though. This number is also important, because the
higher the rate of Frames Per Second, the smoother the video motion
will appear. Full-motion video usually has 30 fps or an even higher
High quality Sony optic sensor
The high-resolution Exmor CMOS Sensor captures amazing, detail-packed
video with superb contrast, rich colours and less noise, especially in
low light conditions. This sensor is an addition to the Full HD
resolution, simply ensuring the most superior video quality possible;
details are captured that other cameras simply can’t catch.
Advanced Drivers Assistance System (ADAS)
An innovative feature in the 688 to help drivers stays safe on the road
is ADAS, which is short for Advanced Drivers Assistance System. The two
prominent features in ADAS are the Forward Collision Warning System
(FCWS) and the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS). These two features
add great safety value to a dash cam as LDWS warns the driver in case
the car moves out of its lane, thus potentially avoiding a head-on
collision. And if the distance between ones car and the one in front of
them decreases, for example when the car in front hits the brakes, the
FCWS gives a warning as well. These two features seem simple but dash
cams with ADAS are quite scarce.
Second SD-card slot
With the second SD-card slot you always have a backup of your files.
The dash cam saves the video on both cards, ensuring that should
anything happen, you have two videos of the accident. One for you and
one for your insurance company or the police. This feature comes in
handy in countries where you need to hand in your proof on the spot.
